Amor Tanzania was founded by Elizabeth Ryula Maginga in order to avail the great demand of cultural exchange programs and affordable projects with transparency. We offer the perfect support that one would need. We are mainly based in Arusha but we have connections in Dar-Es-Salaam, Zanzibar and Nairobi in case one needs to travel and explore.

Vision and Mission

We envision a world where all people – even those from the most remote areas of the globe – come together hand in hand as brothers and sisters to share the diverse aspects of life’s challenges that separate different communities worldwide, and to bring Africa and the rest of the world closer together.

To connect people from different cultural environments worldwide by working together in various programs so as to advance world understanding with good will and love. We endeavor to work in partnership with volunteers so as to create a more informed world -one challenged and invigorated by a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas and cultures in Africa (Tanzania).

Our Projects

At Emerald schools we have two campuses : one is mainly for toddlers between 9 months and 4 years old, and the other campus is for children between 5 – 13 years old.

At Primary school, you can assist the local teachers with teaching, preparing teaching aids, and other activities.

At the Pre-school, support the teachers by playing games with the kids, teaching, helping to prepare meals for the children. MORE

The hospital is fully owned by the government. Situated at the city center of Arusha, the hospital is always busy serving more than 200 patients per day. Joining this amazing program will surely develop your medical skills.

Under the guidance of the local doctors and care takers, volunteers will take over various tasks such as patients care and may also assist in other medical tasks. MORE

This is an amazing project that anyone can participate in and make a difference to our mother nature. Volunteers on this project can be involved in tree planting, water conservation and many other meaning full community based initiatives.
